Cracker Barrel

After the Pinewood Derby, the four of us headed to Cracker Barrel for some brunch.  In some ways, it was even more fun and relaxing than the Pinewood Derby.  All in all, the two activities were a great way to spend a weekend day.  Keira always loves the rocking chairs in front of the restaurant, she loves finding all the Keira sized rockers and spending a little time rocking in each one.

As for Elijah, he loved building towers with the cleaned out creamer containers. 

After he made towers with the creamers he experimented with new formations and ways to collapse his construction.  It was interesting because his little made up game was a version of a cups competition that a local elementary school is involved in that he has never seen. I love his expression of intense concentration.
