Elijah's First Book

In Dr. Goehring's First Grade Gifted class, all of her students publish their first book.  They work on the stories and pictures in class and send them off to one of the many publishers that you can find online.  As a culminating, end of the year activity, the kids invite family in to hear them read their books for the first time.  Elijah was super excited to share his book with us.

Keira was excited for her big brother, and she wanted to see the illustrations in the book, so she inched closer and stood behind Elijah.

We also took the opportunity to pose for some pictures before we left.
