More and More Ornaments

Elijah and Keira LOVED making and decorating dough ornaments.  It became a month long obsession.  Fortunately, they soon learned how to mix and knead the dough, roll out the dough and cut out their favorite shapes all by themselves.  It was awesome.  I love when they find creative outlets, and it was even better that they could do almost all the steps completely independently.  Most afternoons while I was doing dishes, making dinner or cleaning the kitchen, the kids were happily making and decorating ornaments.  Much to Daddy's dismay, the ornament and paint covered craft table had a semi-permanent home in the kitchen for the month of December.
