Keira's First Day of Preschool

On August 25, 2013, Keira attended her first day of preschool.  Unlike her reluctant brother, Keira enthusiastically posed for pictures.  While she was understandably nervous for her first day, she was also super excited, too.

To commemorate her special day, Daddy got someone to cover his class for a little while so he could surprise her and give her a good luck kiss at her cubby before she started her day.

Earlier that morning, to help alleviate her jitters I read over a typical day's schedule with her so she could know what to expect.  She memorized it.  After giving us big hugs and kisses, she told us she needed to wash her hands, like the schedule said.

After washing her hands, she quickly got down to the work of playing.  :)  All in all, Keira LOVED her first day and enthusiastically attended preschool for several more blissful weeks.
