Elijah was given the special red ticket to give to the cast member at the end of the line that they use to keep track of the wait times.
It was a hot day as you can see from the first photo that I took of Daddy and Keira unaware. But, as you can see from the other photos, it wasn't too hot to enjoy the day and have a fantastic time together. Daddy and Keira are quite good at hamming it up for the camera. Additionally, as you can see from the photo of Elijah, the ride provided a cool breeze and a bit of a respite from the heat.
Besides cooling down on the rides, a Mickey ice cream bar helped to cool the kids down as well.
After cooling down with a sweet treat, we rode a few more rides as a family including The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. The kids wanted to ride in the front of the Honey Pot by themselves. Daddy gave Elijah a little pep talk about taking care of his sister, so when they climbed aboard, Elijah put a comforting Big Brother arm around her. So cute.
Even though it's a relatively tame ride, you can see from Keira's big smile that it's still a favorite.
After riding a few more rides as a family, we headed over to the parade route to get a good spot to watch the Main Street Electrical Parade. We got such a good seat that we ended up inheriting an adorable British 3-year old whose family was sitting behind us. The kids were happy to share their good seats and make a new friend.
Keira loved all the Princess and Fairy appearances and waved to all of them, including Tinkerbell.
Elijah got tired as the parade continued and ended up taking a nap on Daddy's lap.
